Located in Rockville, MD, our mission at Cadenza Music Studio is to help students achieve the technical and interpretive skills necessary in order to create passionate music. We provide a nurturing environment, with attentive teachers who are dedicated to creating a specialized curriculum that fits the individual needs of each student.
From beginning to advanced students, we are committed to ensuring the understanding of basic musical concepts, refining musical interpretation, and empowering the student to find their own voice, all while having fun as they discover the joy of music.

Wanlu Ma
Wanlu Ma is a versatile musician, frequently performing chamber and orchestral music in the Baltimore/DC area. In addition to her performing engagements, Mrs. Ma is active as a piano and percussion instructor, teaching students of all ages
James Duncan
Described as “poised” and “communicative” by the Baltimore Sun and praised for his “eloquence” by Fanfare Magazine, James Duncan has garnered acclaim as a solo, chamber, and orchestral clarinetist. James maintains an active performance schedule serving as principal clarinet for Symphony Number One and Occasional Symphony in Baltimore, MD.
